Following the announcement that the Pokemon Masters team would be working to improve various aspects of the game, they've swiftly followed this up with a more detailed roadmap that covers the next six months, which we'll breakdown for you here.

In November players can expect to see reward adjustments. Specifically, they're looking to improve the rewards players will receive for all future events. Arguably, this newer reward system is already in place with the latest Evolution Rally providing players with more substantial login bonuses during the event.

They went into more particular details about the reward changes saying that the rewards available in the Exchange Items menu will increase in all future training events. The number of non-paid gems given out each month will increase – though they didn't say by how much though there will be a special login bonus for the first week of November.

3-star and 4-star Power-Ups, which can improve the potential level of your Pokemon will also be added to the Exchange Items menu during story events. And finally, Courses and Supercourses will receive additional rewards for beating them on the Very Hard difficulty setting.

In December they're looking to do some adjustments to the battle design alongside looking to add events that you can obtain Sync Pairs through instead of the usual item and XP rewards players receive now. These improvements also hope to address device temperature while playing the game, co-op battle pacing, battery consumption and load times.

In January they're planning to expand the way that players can strengthen their sync pairs. In particular, they're going to look at different ways they can make the current training system more in-depth. Additionally, the January changes promise to revamp the training events to make them more fun to do.

February's update looks to be a fairly straightforward one with new single-player content heading to the game. How much single-player content will be added to the game wasn't specified, however.

Finally, March will celebrate the sixth anniversary of Pokemon Masters. Alongside promising a 'quality celebration experience' this will also see story events altered to better highlight the bonds between trainer and Pokemon.

Pokemon Masters is available now through the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.

However, you'll find the environmental challenges ramping up as you progress, which will keep you on your toes, but will never cause needless frustration.

All of this plays out across 21 different levels. They're quite short, which makes Flora and the Darkness an excellent game to play on a commute and short bursts.
A world of wonder
Flora and the Darkness boasts a stunning art style. Set on an alien planet, you'll be exploring a beautifully verdant world full of crumbling alien technology slowly being consumed by a mysterious darkness set on consuming anything it touches.

Each level introduces something new, from lazily swinging wind turbines to swinging bridges that all add to the game's atmosphere. The music, too, is quite lovely, and perfectly encapsulates Flora's bittersweet journey as she's forced to flee from her home.
Finding help along the way
Flora's not completely alone, though. She'll find plenty of help along the way. The levels are scattered with powerups and other aids that will prove vital to her success. Trees of Life are spread throughout each level, serving as check points in case you die before you reach the portal at the end.

Players will also find "presents" sprinkled across levels that offer up extra lives, in-game currency, and other power ups that will make your harrowing journey a bit more easier. It's a fun treat to see what's inside each present you find.
Flora and the Darkness is a beautiful game full of high stakes adventure that will inspire any gamer. What are you waiting for? However, this is due to begin in October and if you'd like to get involved, then you can sign up for a chance to participate by filling in this Google Form.

"I would have laughed over it so happily if I had my baby," she sobbed to Marilla. "But when I haven't it just seems like wanton cruelty--though I know Phil wouldn't hurt me for the world. Oh, Marilla, I don't see how I can EVER be happy again--EVERYTHING will hurt me all the rest of my life."
"Better not," said Leslie curtly. "Today's rain has made the ground damp. Good-night."
