Save Caitlin(MOD)
3DS hackers have figured out a way to let the handheld play games from any region, by using a loophole in the YouTube app to run homebrew code on the console.

The exploit involves placing some files on your SD card, changing your DNS settings on your 3DS, and then using the YouTube app which is available, for free, on the eShop.

The creators say that this won't permanently affect your console: simply change your DNS settings back and your console will be as good as new. That being said, Pocket Gamer takes no responsibility if you use this info and balls up your device.

The modern also say that this exploit does not allow for piracy, saying "these exploits run strictly in userland, meaning that we do not have full control over the console, and therefore cannot run pirated software".

If you want to try it yourself, check out this NeoGAF post and get the YouTube app before Nintendo removes it from the eShop (like every other app that allows for exploits).

And, privileged by age, desires to knowWhich fortified her visage from the sun,"I would have laughed over it so happily if I had my baby," she sobbed to Marilla. "But when I haven't it just seems like wanton cruelty--though I know Phil wouldn't hurt me for the world. Oh, Marilla, I don't see how I can EVER be happy again--EVERYTHING will hurt me all the rest of my life."

It's not the first time Rok has made it on Pocket Gamer's radar. Having launched on the iPad in June this year, the mythology-infused puzzler managed to bag PG's Bronze Award in its review, and now it's finally out on the iPhone.

Once you move past its gorgeously polygraphic art style, Rok is a unique puzzler in which you play as a frail, elderly man. You have to escape a futuristic Norse prison by using your telekinetic abilities to re-wire machinery, bypass advanced security measures, fend of deadly cave dwellers, and figure out a way around (or through) obstacles.

What I find striking about this game in particular is that is slams together futuristic elements with Norse mythology (my favourite, for those who don't know), making it a highly sensory and visceral experience.

Grab the game on the App Store now for £2.29/$2.99.

If you're a bit keen on gorgeous, low-poly graphics and grand stories, then you might want to keep an eye out for Uri: The Sprout of Lotus Creek.

U:TSoLC is a puzzle platformer where you learn the story of Uri, a prince who can manipulate the powers given to him by the mystical symbols, as he sets off on his quest to save the world. Interestingly, the story won't be told through traditional text format, but rather by music and visuals.

Throughout the game, you'll solve various different puzzles by utilising the UI, like the pause/sound buttons, or the health bar, you can manipulate the symbols and guide Uri across the land.

I've got little doubt that Uri will prove to be a striking adventure. From its simple but powerful artwork so its apparent animated sequences, it's a story I definitely want to jump into come launch day.

Lucky us, we don't have to wait for long as the game launches on iOS, September 13th.
"He wouldn't say a word about it--he'd just enjoy the joke. Don't worry over snubbing him--he'll think it fun. Yes, Marshall's shaved off his beard at last and cut his hair. His party is in, you know. I didn't know him myself first time I saw him. He was up in Carter Flagg's store at the Glen the night after election day, along with a crowd of others, waiting for the news. About twelve the 'phone came through--the Liberals were in. Marshall just got up and walked out--he didn't cheer or shout--he left the others to do that, and they nearly lifted the roof off Carter's store, I reckon. Of course, all the Tories were over in Raymond Russell's store. Not much cheering THERE. Marshall went straight down the street to the side door of Augustus Palmer's barber shop. Augustus was in bed asleep, but Marhall hammered on the door until he got up and come down, wanting to know what all the racket was about.
